• Review Invitations to Bid (ITBs), Requests for Proposal(RFPs), plans, specifications, addenda, and other bid documents to understandproject requirements and scope.
• Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs for commercial landscape, irrigation, and related construction scopes.
• Use AAA Landscape's estimating systems and AI-assistedtakeoff technology to improve estimating efficiency and accuracy.
• Review and validate technology-generated quantitiesagainst project plans and specifications.
• Identify discrepancies, omissions, unusual details, and potential scope issues and bring them forward for review.
• Prepare RFIs when additional information orclarification is required.
• Develop project estimates incorporating labor,materials, equipment, subcontractors, production rates, and other project costs.
• Solicit pricing from suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Review supplier and subcontractor quotations for completeness and compliance with project requirements.
• Prepare proposal inclusions, exclusions,clarifications, alternates, and other required bid information.
• Maintain bid schedules and ensure assigned estimates and proposals are completed by required deadlines.
• Participate in estimate reviews with Constructionleadership before bid submission.
• Maintain organized bid documents, pricing information,supplier quotations, and estimating records.
• Assist with project turnover to Project Management and Purchasing following award.
• Assist with maintaining estimating assemblies,production rates, material pricing, historical cost information, and estimatingprocedures.
• Continue developing knowledge of landscape and irrigation construction methods, materials, labor requirements, equipment, and Arizona construction practices.
• Participate in evaluating and adopting new estimating technology and processes that improve accuracy and efficiency.

• Experience in commercial landscape or irrigationestimating, landscape construction, project coordination, or a related construction field preferred.
• Understanding of commercial landscape and irrigationconstruction methods.
• Ability to read and interpret landscape, irrigation,civil, and related construction plans and specifications.
• Knowledge of Arizona plant materials, landscapematerials, irrigation systems, and regional construction practices is preferred.
• Understanding of quantity takeoff, labor, materials,equipment, and basic construction estimating principles.
• Comfortable learning and using AI-assisted estimating,digital takeoff, and other construction technology.
• Ability and willingness to verify technology-generatedinformation rather than relying solely on automated results.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Experience with Sage/Timberline, On-Screen Takeoff, or comparable estimating and takeoff platforms is beneficial.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
