Tiello is partnered with a well-established General Contractor based in Phoenix, AZ, in their search for an experienced Superintendent to oversee commercial construction projects throughout the Valley.

This organization has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects through exceptional field leadership, operational excellence, safety, and client-focused execution. Their portfolio consists of both ground-up commercial developments and tenant improvement projects across a variety of market sectors.

The Superintendent will serve as the on-site leader responsible for managing all field operations from project startup through closeout. This individual will oversee subcontractors, maintain project schedules, enforce safety standards, coordinate inspections and deliveries, and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate will bring strong ground-up commercial construction experience, direct tilt-up construction experience, and the ability to lead projects through successful completion while maintaining positive relationships with owners, design teams, and trade partners.

• Lead and supervise all field personnel and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle
• Manage daily construction activities from mobilization through project completion
• Maintain project schedules and coordinate sequencing of work with project teams
• Conduct daily site walks to monitor safety, quality, manpower, and project progress
• Coordinate material deliveries, inspections, and overall site logistics
• Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, permits, and change orders
• Lead and enforce all jobsite safety initiatives and company safety policies
• Conduct regular safety meetings and ensure subcontractor compliance
• Monitor workmanship and implement quality control measures to reduce punch list items
• Maintain strong communication with Project Managers and company leadership
• Build and maintain positive relationships with owners, architects, engineers, inspectors, vendors, and subcontractors
• Identify project challenges early and develop proactive solutions to maintain schedule and budget objectives
• Support project startup, turnover, and closeout activities

• 5+ years of Superintendent experience with a Commercial General Contractor
• Strong ground-up commercial construction experience required
• Direct tilt-up construction experience required
• Procore proficiency required
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents
• Strong scheduling, field coordination, and subcontractor management experience
• OSHA 30 Certification required
• Current CPR Certification required
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
• Valid driver`s license with acceptable driving record

• Bachelor`s Degree in Construction Management or related field
• LEED AP or LEED training
• Experience with Microsoft Project
• Experience managing warehouse, industrial, and large-scale commercial projects
