** What We Need:*
* We're seeking an experienced Traffic Anchor keep our listeners abreast of traffic and weather in the local area

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide timely, accurate, and useful information to help commuters plan their drives.

+ Deliver up to the minute reports on accidents, delays, and major traffic disruptions.

+ Read traffic updates, commercials, and public service announcements on air.

+ Gather information from multiple intake sources and monitor local, state, and national traffic feeds to determine what's most relevant.

+ Research, write, and produce traffic and weather copy for on air use; edit audio using digital editing software.

+ Manage incoming information, verify facts, and ensure all details are accurate and current; maintain updated content on station websites.

+ Create written, visual, audio, and video content for websites, blogs, and social media platforms.

+ Work a flexible schedule as needed, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays.

** What You'll Need:*
* + Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

+ Strong knowledge of local geography, major roadways, mass transit systems, and traffic patterns.

+ Clear, pleasant, and well controlled on air voice with excellent pronunciation.

+ Skilled at working in a fast paced, deadline driven, newsroom style environment.
