OVERVIEW OF THE COMPANY
Fox TV Stations (FOX Television Stations) owns and operates 29 full‑power broadcast television stations in the U.S. These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas (DMAs) and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago). Eighteen of these stations are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment, and syndicated content, the stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week.
JOB DESCRIPTIONFOX
10, Arizona’s preeminent source for news, is seeking a talented, passionate, creative, and collaborative Producer. The role requires producing a timely and compelling newscast that is editorially and visually dynamic, leading the editorial process, booking guests and segment features, producing content for news specials, and possibly field producing.
- Produce a timely and compelling newscast that is editorially and visually dynamic.
- Participate in and help lead the editorial process, including booking guests and segment features.
- Produce content/newscasts for news specials and, if required, field produce.
- Assign stories to associate producers and ENG staff with video production.
- Complete simple desktop editing and use templates to produce graphics.
- Utilize a variety of storytelling techniques and tools to showcase stories in unique ways.
- Apply strong knowledge of social media and incorporate content from multiple platforms into the newscast.
- Demonstrate exceptional news judgment, strong writing, and copy‑editing abilities.
- Collaborate with staff to perform at the highest levels daily.
- Work in a fast‑paced environment under specific time constraints while demonstrating exceptional creativity.
- Be self‑motivated and work productively on a team.
- Work closely with news management to continually evolve newscasts.
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism or communications preferred.
- Minimum of two years working in a major market newsroom as a producer or in a smaller market as a news manager.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and varied hours.

BENEFITS AND COMPENSATIONPursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with the final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location, is $67,250.00 – $77,250.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage; insurance; a 401(k) plan; paid time off; and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
Benefits for union‑represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
