To support the development of a curated content map for Marvel comics, the part-time Marvel Comics Content Reviewer will validate reading paths, assess comic issue sequencing, and collaborate with product teams remotely while committing approximately 15-25 hours per week.
Key responsibilities- Review and refine proposed reading orders based on canon, narrative quality, and reader experience
- Map connections between events, arcs, and runs to ensure coherent reading paths for users
- Collaborate with product teams to provide editorial rationale and participate in working sessions
- Demonstrated deep expertise in Marvel Comics
- Working knowledge of Marvel continuity, including key characters and event arcs
- Comfortable using structured tools such as spreadsheets and shared documents
- Authorized to work in the United States as an independent contractor
- (Preferred) Experience in editorial and/or creative writing
