This role is much bigger than simply “running video.” We are looking for someone who can own and grow the video department while also serving as a lead-level V1 on corporate events, concerts, galas, conferences, worship events, and live productions throughout Arizona and beyond.

Position OverviewThe V1 / Video Department Lead is responsible for:
- Leading video execution on events
- Programming and operating video systems
- Managing LED wall systems, switchers, playback, and signal flow
- Supporting projection and screen systems
- Helping standardize and organize the video department
- Assisting with prep, maintenance, and gear strategy
- Training and developing video team members
- Supporting warehouse and event operations when needed
- Helping improve workflows, systems, and execution standards
This role is both technical and leadership-oriented. We are looking for someone who can not only execute events at a high level, but also help build the future of our video department.
What You’ll Be Responsible ForEvent Execution Serve as lead V1 on corporate and live production events
- Program and operate switchers and video systems
- Manage playback systems and show flow
- Build and troubleshoot signal flow and routing
- Operate and support LED wall systems and processors
- Support camera systems and live IMAG workflows
- Execute clean and professional show files and graphics workflows
- Ensure video systems are show-ready before events
- Maintain a calm, solutions-oriented mindset under pressure
- Help oversee and organize the video department
- Assist with gear maintenance and quality control
- Develop standards, labeling systems, and workflows
- Help identify future equipment and infrastructure needs
- Train and mentor newer technicians
- Assist leadership in improving department efficiencies
- Help maintain department cleanliness and organization
- Lead by example with professionalism and ownership
- Support and encourage team members
- Communicate clearly with project managers, sales, and field teams
- Help create a healthy, positive, growth-oriented culture
- Be willing to jump in and help wherever needed
We understand no candidate checks every box. Strong candidates may come from touring, corporate AV, church production, broadcast, or live event environments.

- Resolume
- Pro Presenter
- Playback Pro
- Novastar
- LED wall processing and setup
- Projection mapping
- Camera shading and IMAG systems
- SDI, NDI, fiber, and networking workflows
- Corporate event production
- Live streaming workflows
- Show file creation and signal management
- Event leadership experience
- Warehouse and prep workflows
