Associate, Technical Client Service (Phoenix, AZ)
Schwab Advisor Services is the leading provider of custodial, operational, and trading support for independent fee-based investment advisors. We are looking for dedicated individuals to help provide financial advisors with access to tools and wealth-management services. Responsibilities- Educate clients - Respond directly to client inquiries over the phone and engage clients in discussions focused on education and guidance related to their website navigation needs
- Be a client advocate - Ask the right questions to reach the heart of the issue
- Provide solutions-based service - Deliver website support and problem resolution to Registered Investment Advisors (clients) in a timely, professional, and courteous manner
- Be consultative - Recommend solutions that align to clients needs
- Build strong client and internal relationships - Collaborate in a team-based environment with a diverse group of professionals focused on meeting clients’ needs
The ideal candidate will thrive in an environment of continuous learning and collaboration. The role primarily involves responding to calls from an inbound queue in a team-oriented environment, and requires enjoying problem solving with customers.
The role is not available as fully remote. Must live within reasonable commuting distance from the following Charles Schwab campus location: 8040 South 48th Street, Phoenix, Arizona 85044
What you have- 1-3 years customer service experience
- Basic knowledge of computer desktop use and website navigation demonstrated through prior experience and/or education
- Basic knowledge of online/Internet services
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Collaborative and relationship-focused work style with success in a team environment
- Good time management, communication skills, positive demeanor, professionalism, and integrity
In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
