- Training Period:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Mountain Time. Required on-site for the full first week.
- Shift: 12:30 PM - 9:00 PM Eastern Time (10:30 AM - 7:00 PM MT, or 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM MT depending on daylight saving time).
- Primarily remote with onsite up to one week per quarter.
- Overtime available based on business demand.
TEKsystems is hiring Delinquency Control Counselors to support a Fortune 100 Financial Institution. Working in a fast-paced call center environment, you'll handle both outbound and inbound calls focused on early-stage delinquency (1‑30 days past due) - a stage that does not impact member credit scores. The goal is to help members resolve delinquency early through effective communication, financial counseling, and available payment solutions.
WhatYou'll Do
- Make outbound collection calls and handle inbound calls via auto-dialer.
- Work early-stage delinquency accounts (1‑30 days past due).
- Help members cure delinquency using available payment options and loss mitigation tools.
- Provide financial counseling and offer solutions including repayment plans, promises‑to‑pay, loan modifications, refinances, and deferral programs.
- Gather and review financial information to determine the best resolution path.
- Document all member interactions, repayment agreements, and delinquency reasons accurately.
- Communicate professionally and empathetically while navigating objections.
- Daily Call Volume: 80‑120+ calls per day.
- High‑volume, production‑driven call center.
- Strong emphasis on quality conversations, compliance, and member experience.
- Fast‑paced with clear performance expectations and team support.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.85 - $20.85/hr.
