Hourly rate $13.00 - $20.00+ per hour (after tips and base pay combined); rates vary by market; tips based on service performance and customer interactions.
As a Valet Attendant, you are more than just someone who parks cars—you are the first impression and the final goodbye. You create a welcoming, professional experience for every guest from arrival until departure.
You will safely and efficiently park and retrieve vehicles while delivering exceptional customer service with energy, confidence, and attention to detail. Your ability to move quickly, communicate clearly, and maintain a polished presence directly shapes the guest experience.

Primary ObjectiveProvide courteous, efficient, and safe valet services while ensuring the security of all vehicles. Warmly greet guests, assist with vehicle drop‑off and retrieval, manage traffic flow, and address guest inquiries professionally.
Duties and Responsibilities- Conduct vehicle damage inspections and document parking locations on claim tickets.
- Safely and efficiently park and retrieve guest vehicles while adhering to proper key handling procedures and safety protocols.
- Maintain compliance with attendance and timekeeping policies, including clocking in/out for shifts and breaks and accurately reporting tips.
- Keep valet areas clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Handle challenging situations with professionalism, resolve problems promptly, and maintain a positive team environment.
- Maintain regular attendance, arrive on time, in full uniform, and properly groomed before clocking in.
- Perform other tasks as needed to support the company’s operational goals, attend required staff meetings, and complete all assigned training modules on time.
- High school diploma or GED; customer service experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; clean motor vehicle record with no more than three moving violations in the past three years.
- Strong communication skills and active listening.
- Ability to adapt to changing work environments and manage competing demands effectively.
- Dependability, safety orientation, and ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Requires stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs. for extended periods, often in varied weather conditions. Work occurs in both indoor and outdoor environments, including parking facilities and corporate settings.
Cell Phone UseMay be required to use personal cell phones for work‑related communication. Reimbursement for usage will follow company policy.
