- Receive calls that require skilled communication and accurate information based on policies, guidelines, and directives of each agency represented.
- Act as a communication facilitator between the public and contact center management.
- Communicate and process information to the Lead or Supervisor when necessary.
- Answer incoming phone calls; may have to take and relay messages.
- Provide factual information to the public and/or other County employees.
- Maintain logs and other forms of information data entry.
- Complete and review routine forms and memos, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- 6 months of customer service experience and/or clerical experience.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Post‑secondary education may substitute for the required experience on a year‑for‑year basis.
- Previous call center experience (valued).
- Bilingual in Spanish and English (valued).
- Set hours of 8:00AM – 5:00PM with a one‑hour lunch.

This position is in an office setting and is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
Requires the ability to sit or stand for an extended period and the ability to view a computer screen for an extended period.
May require exerting up to 10 lbs. occasionally or negligible weights.
Telework is not available for this position.
