About Auto Venture
Auto Venture is a luxury tour operator, founded by the Strandoo family in 1971, and is still family-owned and family-run. The values that launched the company over 55 years ago remain unchanged: personal accountability, genuine expertise, and a deep commitment to doing things right. We specialize in bespoke Foreign Independent Travel (FIT) worldwide.
We are a small team. Every person here matters, and every detail of every trip matters. That’s been true since day one, and it’s not changing.
The RoleWe’ve recently opened a North Phoenix office — conveniently located at the 101 and Cave Creek Road — and are looking for Travel Coordinators to join our team. This role blends front-line responsiveness with behind-the-scenes coordination: you’ll be answering phones, taking reservations, and working directly with travel agents who book our services — while also managing the operational details that keep every itinerary on track.
You’ll work closely with our team to manage the day-to-day: handling agent inquiries and reservation requests, coordinating with overseas suppliers and chauffeur partners, tracking bookings, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks. If you’ve worked in a travel agency or tour operation and understand how FIT travel actually works, you’ll feel right at home.
What You’ll Do- Answer incoming calls and handle reservation requests from travel agents and direct clients
- Work directly with travel agents who book our chauffeured touring services, ensuring their requests are handled accurately and professionally
- Process and confirm reservations, maintaining complete and accurate booking records
- Coordinate supplier requests and booking confirmations with international partners across Europe
- Track itinerary details, service confirmations, and client documentation from inquiry through travel
- Manage correspondence with chauffeur companies, hotels, and local operators
- Assist with quote preparation, cost tracking, and file organization
- Support agent communications and help ensure advisor requests are handled accurately and on time
- Identify and flag scheduling conflicts, missing confirmations, or discrepancies before they become problems
- Contribute to ongoing process improvements as we grow
- Full-time position in our new North Phoenix office
- Salary of $42,000–$60,000 per year, depending on experience
- A stable, family-run business with more than 55 years of history and a loyal client and agent base
- A collaborative team environment where your work is visible and your contributions matter
- The opportunity to grow with a company that’s investing in its future
- Experience in a travel agency, tour operator, or similar travel industry environment — FIT or luxury travel a strong plus
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple open files simultaneously
- Clear, professional written communication skills — you’ll be corresponding with international partners
- Comfortable with technology and willing to learn internal systems (we use Net Suite and a custom operations platform)
- Calm under pressure and proactive about communication when things need attention
- Someone who takes pride in doing things correctly the first time
