Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
Location(s): Must be willing to travel between our 3 offices on N 75th Ave, N 24th St, and Baseline.
Pay: $/hour (depending on experience)

ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for the following:
- Greet and engage patients with respect and a smile.
- Ensure patients are well informed and comfortable - before, during, and after their appointment - about their treatment and oral health.
- Take and process dental radiographs, impressions and intraoral photos.
- Prepares and sterilizes treatment room and equipment.
- Provide chair-side assistance to Providers during treatment procedures.
- Documents orthodontic care services by charting in patients’ records.
- Assist the orthodontist in assessing a patient's teeth and implementing a plan to straighten them.
- Perform routine orthodontic duties, including cleaning and adjusting orthodontic gear.
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and patient-centric working environment.
- Maintain strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations, (e.g, OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, Employee Handbook).
You will be required to possess the following:
- Six (6) or more months of practical experience as an orthodontic assistant (highly preferred).
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Completion of a CODA-accredited dental assisting program (Preferred).
- Quick learner with problem solving skills
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Technical and troubleshooting skills for software applications used for charting, patient records, scheduling, etc.
- Ability to demonstrate proficiency in fitting bands and brackets, tying in arch wires and taking consistent, accurate impressions.
- Desire and ability to learn new skills and be a team player.
- Commitment to being punctual and reporting to work on time.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the desire for professional growth.
- Be organized and possess a superior knowledge of dentistry and dental terminology.
