Description
Camelback Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics is seeking a motivated and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our well-established pediatric dental and orthodontic team in Phoenix. We’re dedicated to providing the highest quality of care in a fun, child-friendly environment where kids and families feel welcomed from the moment they walk through our doors. Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Thursday 7:15am - 5:15pm
Experience &Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the pediatric dentist chairside during exams and procedures.
- Prepare and break down operatories before and after each patient.
- Provide support during restorative procedures, extractions, and sedation cases.
- Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
- Maintain strict sterilization and infection-control standards.
- Chart accurately in Dentrix and help maintain efficient patient flow.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by management.
- Previous dental assisting experience preferred.
- Experience in orthodontic assisting or willingness to learn.
- X-ray certification (AZ) preferred.
- Coronal polish certification preferred.
- Comfortable working with infants, children, and teens.
- Positive attitude with strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and passionate about patient care.
