ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for the following:
- Greet and engage patients with respect and a smile.
- Ensure patients are well informed and comfortable before, during, and after their appointment about their treatment and oral health.
- Take and process dental radiographs, impressions and intraoral photos.
- Prepares and sterilizes treatment room and equipment.
- Provide chair-side assistance to Providers during treatment procedures.
- Document dental care services by charting in patients’ records.
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and patient-centric working environment.
You will be required to possess the following:
- Six (6) or more months of practical experience as a dental assistant.
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Completion of a CODA-accredited dental assisting program (Preferred).
- Quick learner with problem solving skills.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Technical and troubleshooting skills for software applications used for charting, patient records, scheduling, etc.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the desire for professional growth.
- Be organized and possess a superior knowledge of dentistry and dental terminology.
