Position Overview
A full‑time Orthodontic Tech Assistant position at All In One Benso Family Dental. The role is 100% on‑site and includes a $500 sign‑on bonus. You will work directly under an experienced orthodontic team to maintain and operate advanced technology and supplies.
Responsibilities- Ensure all orthodontic supplies and equipment are properly maintained and ready for use.
- Operate and maintain 3D printing equipment, printing items such as night guards, surgical guides, and retainers.
- Apply expertise in orthodontic assisting with Invisalign and traditional treatments, including braces, archwires, and appliance adjustments.
- Use digital dental technologies such as iTero scanner, intraoral cameras, CBCT scanner, and Sprintray 3D printers.
- Support orthodontists during procedures and treatments.
- Prepare and organize tools and technologies for each orthodontic session.
- Manage inventory of orthodontic supplies, placing orders as needed to ensure continuous availability.
- Adhere to hygiene regulations and safety standards at all times within the practice.
- Demonstrate strong problem‑solving and organizational skills in daily tasks.
- Assist in the sterilization and proper disposal of contaminated supplies.
- Create a friendly and welcoming environment for all patients, ensuring a comfortable experience during orthodontic treatments.
- Participate in regular staff meetings to discuss technology advancements and improvements in clinical operations.
- Handle sensitive patient information with utmost confidentiality and care.
- Work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment with other staff members to facilitate seamless orthodontic operations.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in orthodontic dental assisting.
- At least 1 year of experience operating 3D dental printing technologies efficiently.
- Demonstrable ability to work autonomously and apply detailed orthodontic instructions effectively.
- Track record of working in a fast‑paced dental environment to manage multiple responsibilities.
- Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- High level of proficiency and understanding in the use of 3D printers and associated technologies, specifically for orthodontic applications.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex information clearly to patients and team members.
- Commitment to maintaining the highest level of hygiene and cleanliness in all operational areas.
- Current certification or degree in Dental Assisting or a related field, with specific focus or training in orthodontics strongly preferred.
