Role Overview: A Dental Assistant is responsible for supporting dentists during procedures, preparing and sterilizing instruments, taking dental radiographs, and ensuring patient comfort. They maintain accurate records, assist with scheduling, educate patients on oral hygiene, and manage dental supplies.
Qualifications & Skills: Candidates should have at least 1 year of experience, preferably with Dentrix, and hold an accredited Dental Assistant certification and radiography certification (DANB RHS). Strong communication, organizational skills, and team-oriented attitude are essential. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
Key Duties: Assist during treatments, sterilize equipment, take X-rays, support patient comfort, record management, patient education, and inventory control.
