DescriptionWe are hiring a Dental Assistant who loves teaching and training employees and students!
Share your knowledge and expertise in a classroom and clinical setting.
Location: 13430 N Black Canyon, Phoenix, AZ
Schedule: 8 am to 12 Noon|As Needed
Hiring Range: $20.80 - $24.96 per hour
- Follow the existing lesson plan and course syllabus.
- Supervise and guide students through hands-on lab work when teaching in a lab setting.
- Take attendance and manage classroom order.
- Provide on-the-spot clarification and support.
- Collect assignments and document student progress.
Effective lesson planning and execution
Ability to assess student knowledge and design remediation strategies
Role model of professionalism and dedication to the profession
Engaging and supportive teaching environment
Proficient in creating and administering evaluations
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Excel, and Power Point
Minimum QualificationsGraduation from an accredited Dental Assistant program (or equivalent recognized training) OR a minimum of three years of related experience for non-accredited program graduates.
At least two years of practical experience in Dental Assisting.
Knowledge of state requirements for dental assisting programs.
Proficiency in four-handed and/or six-handed dentistry practices.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Required Licenses, Certifications or RegistrationsNationally Certified Dental Assistant (CDA), Registered Dental Assistant (RDA), or licensed dentist (CDA or RDA credentials not required for dentists).
Current license, certification, or credential per local, state, or federal regulations for the Dental Assistant field.
