Dental Home, a private practice in the Moon Valley Community of Phoenix, Arizona, is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dedicated team. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care in a supportive and friendly environment, with options for both full-time and part-time employment.
Pay- $55 - $57 per hour
- Monday to Friday
Monday – Wednesday: 7 AM – 5 PM Thursday: 7 AM – 6 PM Friday: 8 AM – 3 PM Weekends closed.
Requirements- License & Certification:
Licensed dental hygienist - Software
Experience:
Dentrix - Clinical
Experience:
Cosmetic Dentistry, Implant Dentistry, Emergency Dentistry, General Dentistry
Associate's degree or higher in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
Valid and unrestricted Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in Arizona.
Current Dental License in Arizona.
Current CPR Certification and AED Certification.
Demonstrated experience in patient interaction and education.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferences- License & Certification:
Basic life support, Driver’s license, X-ray / Radiography Certification, Local Anesthesia Certification
Experience with specific dental software.
Previous experience in a private practice setting.
Job Description- Perform comprehensive dental hygiene procedures including prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing.
- Conduct initial patient screenings, oral cancer screenings, and provide oral hygiene instructions.
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as permitted by state guidelines (if certified).
- Take and interpret dental radiographs.
- Document patient care services and medical history accurately and efficiently.
- Educate patients on maintaining oral health and explaining treatment plans.
- Collaborate with dentists and other dental team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain a sterile and organized operatory.
