Project Interior Designer

Overview

STG Design is a dynamic company with an integrated approach to architecture, interior design, and master planning. Our interior design team is seeking an experienced Project Interior Designer. We’re seeking a creative and driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering innovative design solutions. Our routine is that there is no routine. On any given day your role may include (among other things)…

• Work collaboratively across teams to develop creative design solutions that meet the client s criteria.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail in the development of design solutions.
• Serve as a resource to Interior Designers and Project Managers as designs are developed.
• Participate in the development of 2D and 3D graphics, presentations, and other collateral to convey design ideas to clients and project teams.
• Participate in construction administration, helping keep the built product aligned with design intent.
• Support the development of strong client relationships as a project team member.

• Bachelor s degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
• 5-7 years of relevant Interior Design experience and Interiors projects.
• Knowledge of architectural/interior finishes, lighting, color, and materials to carryout design intent
• Strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to explain complex design concepts in simple and meaningful ways.
• Proficient in Revit required.
• Working knowledge of building codes, standards, and building structures.
• Experience with the entire project lifecycle and design process through post-occupancy.
• Flexibility to focus on concurrent projects in various stages of development.

• Working knowledge of parametric modeling (Grasshopper, Dynamo) a plus.
• Proficient in Rhino and Enscape preferred.
