Intermediate Design Technology Manager – Phoenix Studio Position Summary

As a DLR Group Intermediate Design Technology Manager, you will support our integrated design teams to produce award-winning work. You will implement BIM and Design Technology solutions across DLR Group’s global portfolio, ensuring best practices and efficient workflows among project teams, clients, consultants, and contractors. Your focus will be on maximizing project efficiency through effective use of Design Technologies.

What You Will Do
  • Perform periodic quality assurance reviews of Revit models, identifying performance issues and assisting with resolutions.
  • Assist in project planning meetings and guide the use of Design Technology applications throughout the project.
  • Set up projects through the project startup portal.
  • Provide feedback to Design Technology discipline leads to improve BIM best practices and efficiencies.
  • Set up Navisworks for Clash Detection reviews.
  • Develop project‑specific Revit content and implement standard changes into active Revit project files.
  • Manage BIM 360 project sites.
  • Support project‑level automation and customization of Design Technology usage.
  • Stay current on all Design Technology software and add‑ons used at DLR Group and provide updates and training to team members.
Required Qualifications
  • 5‑7 years of Architecture/Engineering/Construction related Design Technology experience.
  • Professional degree in an A/E/C field of study.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Mastery of Revit and familiarity with the Revit API.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to troubleshoot software issues.
  • Clear communication with project teams and technical staff.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Understanding of Architecture, Interior Design, and Engineering design processes.
  • Experience with Dynamo, Grasshopper, or another programming language.
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid environment; this role is not 100% remote.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States without a work‑visa or residency sponsorship.

Pay Range

$90,000 – $115,000 USD, based on location, experience, and skills.
