What You'll Do- Create, manage and produce projects primarily for the booming advanced technology market sector. Additional market sectors include industrial, municipal, higher education, and other institutional and commercial clients.
- Provide the primary designer and leadership roles to our multi-disciplinary teams on projects throughout all stages from concept to delivery.
- Develop and review proposals, reports and contract documents.
- Lead and participate in project documentation development and the production of deliverable drawings and specifications.
- Accountable for effective project coordination efforts among internal disciplines and external consultants.
- Communicate with clients related to project technical matters.
- Oversee project regulatory reviews (building code, accessibility, zoning) and coordinate with, and submit to, authorities having jurisdiction.
- Ensure effective and safe team performance of construction contract administration responsibilities.
- Contribute to project marketing pursuits, proposal preparation and interviews.
- Demonstrate strong and effective communication, decision making, and collaboration to inspire high team performance.
- Mentor staff and provide oversight of assignments.
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture;
Master's preferred, from an NAAB accredited university. - Registered Architect in Arizona; NCARB preferred.
- 12+ years of experience in architectural design and planning of facilities within core markets.
- Detailed understanding of construction techniques and the development of final construction documents.
- Demonstrated project management and supervisory experience.
- Experience working in Advanced Manufacturing or Semiconductor market sectors.
- Proficiency with Revit.
- Demonstrated experience with cross-discipline collaboration.
- Demonstrated design insight and leadership.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent organization, coordination, leadership, and team building skills.
- Proven success in developing new clients and maintaining strong client relationships.
