Cabinet Designer​/Estimator in Phoenix

The Cabinet Designer/Estimator supports the selling process by preparing 2020 cabinet layouts and elevations for the residential new construction industry. Design and develop functional cabinet layouts by analyzing and understanding architectural plans, aesthetics, specifications, installation requirements and pricing. Cabinet Designer/Estimator will complete builder bid documents and create excel bid templates.

• Download architectural plans, specifications and bid submittal documents
• Use cabinet 2020 software to create cabinet designs, renderings, and upgrade package programs
• Determine best cabinet design, following builder specifications and floor plans/elevations
• Identify correct box count labor rates, material costs, hardware counts and any additional costs to create correct proposals
• Complete bid supporting documents to fulfill builder requirements
• Create parts list for cabinets and hardware to order
• Create/understand excel bid templates to generate correct pricing proposals
• Collaborate with various company team members when needed for issue resolution
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment

Qualifications include:

• High School Graduate
• Associates or Bachelors Degree , but not required
• A minimum of 3 years experience in the cabinet industry REQUIRED
• Proficient in 2020 design software REQUIRED
• Knowledge of Cabinet installation REQUIRED
• Experience creating Microsoft Excel templates and formulas REQUIRED
• Proficient in Adobe editing software
• Field experience and understanding of the residential new construction
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently, while adhering to requested timelines
