Revit Designer (BIM/VDC)

We are seeking a Revit Designer (BIM/VDC) to support a large-scale semiconductor facility. In this role, you work on-site in a BIM trailer and take ownership of developing, maintaining, and integrating live 3D models within a highly collaborative, fast-paced construction environment. You coordinate in real time across multiple disciplines and ensure that the federated model accurately reflects field conditions, installation sequencing, and project standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed 3D BIM models in Revit across mechanical, electrical, and architectural scopes.
  • Work within a live, federated model environment and integrate updates from multiple disciplines in real time.
  • Coordinate closely with MEP, architectural, and construction teams to ensure model accuracy and constructability.
  • Perform clash detection and resolve coordination issues in collaboration with project stakeholders.
  • Model mechanical systems including HVAC, ductwork, and chilled water systems.
  • Model electrical systems including power distribution, conduit routing, and fire alarm systems.
  • Support integration of architectural building layouts and design elements into coordinated models.
  • Collaborate with field teams to ensure models reflect current installation conditions and site constraints.
  • Incorporate RFIs, submittals, and field redlines into the BIM model in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Adjust models based on site conditions, installation sequencing, and construction phasing requirements.
  • Participate in coordination meetings with contractors and trade partners to review model content and resolve issues.
  • Produce coordinated drawings, shop drawings, and installation details derived from BIM models.
  • Maintain model organization, naming conventions, and version control in accordance with project standards and BIM execution plans.
  • Ensure all BIM-related deliverables meet established quality expectations and project requirements.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in BIM/VDC, Revit modeling, or a closely related role.
  • Strong proficiency in Revit for 3D modeling and construction documentation.
  • Strong proficiency in Navisworks, including performing clash detection in multi-discipline models.
  • Experience working in multi-discipline coordination environments involving MEP and architectural teams.
  • Working knowledge of construction processes, field coordination, and how design translates to installation.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working on mission critical facilities or similarly complex projects.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, highly collaborative construction setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to model accuracy and data integrity.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience supporting large-scale semiconductor or advanced manufacturing projects.
  • Experience in mechanical, electrical, or architectural modeling within BIM environments.
  • Familiarity with shop drawing production and installation detailing from BIM models.
  • Ability to interpret RFIs, submittals, and field redlines and translate them into model updates.
  • Strong communication skills for coordinating with field teams, contractors, and trade partners.
  • Interest in working on mission critical projects and contributing to high-impact facilities.

Work Environment

This role is 100% on-site in a BIM trailer at a large semiconductor construction project. You work closely with field teams, trade partners, and design disciplines in a highly collaborative environment that relies on live, federated models for coordination. The typical schedule is from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, aligning with construction activities and coordination meetings. The setting is a trailer-based project office within an active construction site, requiring comfort with frequent interaction with field personnel and real-time updates to models and documentation.
