Job Summary and Responsibilities

Dignity Health Medical Group - Arizona is seeking a Consultation-Liaison Psychiatrist to join our team in Phoenix, AZ.

Dignity Health Medical Group works in partnership with St. Joseph Hospital Medical Center ("SJHMC"), the oldest ACS-verified Level I trauma center in central Phoenix. Our team’s focus is driven around being leaders in education, centered on evidence‑based medicine while ensuring consistent collaboration and communications within the team.

• Provide consultation‑liaison psychiatric services to a broad variety of patients eph’s Hospital and Medical Center (SJHMC)
• Coverage includes emergency department, intensive care unit, medical‑psychiatric unit, and neurorehabilitation patients.
• SJHMC is home to the Barrow Neurological Institute, an internationally recognized center for neurosurgery and neurology, providing extensive opportunity for care of patients with complex neuropsychiatric illness.
• 5 days/week inpatient general hospital coverage with rounding one weekend per month (weekdays exchanged for weekend coverage)
• Academic appointment at the Creighton University School of Medicine commensurate with experience
