Banner University Medical Group is actively recruiting full-time and part-time Anesthesiologists with experience in general and subspecialty areas to join our team at Banner University Medical Center Phoenix (BUMCP) in Phoenix, AZ. BUMCP is a level 1 Trauma center offering multi‑specialty care and access to top specialists in General Surgery, Robotics, Gynecological, ENT, Orthopedics, Bariatrics, Endoscopy, and more. Our anesthesiology team supports operating rooms and endoscopy suites with CRNAs working under medical direction.

Educational and clinical leadership positions are also available.

Samuel M. Galvagno Jr., DO, PhD, Chair – the Department of Anesthesiology is actively interviewing candidates to fill a range of experience in general and subspecialty areas. The ideal applicant will have expertise in all aspects of their specialty.

• 1,848 hours annually for 1.0 FTE (8, 10, or 12‑hour shifts available with flexibility in scheduling)
• Base compensation of $509,000–$519,000 plus additional incentives and call pay
• Additional compensation with Unrestricted Call – all call is compensated separately at a competitive rate; several backup call positions available

• BC/BE Anesthesiologist
• Unrestricted AZ license or ability to obtain one
• Ability to obtain AZ DEA license
