The ASU John Shufeldt School of Medicine and Medical Engineering, launching its first class in 2026, has been recognized nationally for its emphasis on

• Immediate Academic Leadership Role
  :
  Develop the Clerkship for ASU medical students in Ob/Gyn
• Rural Health Grant (Optional): Expand Ob/Gyn services via a rural health grant to indigenous and other communities with limited access to women's healthcare services

• Lead recruitment and accreditation of the
  future Ob/Gyn residency program
• Participate in ASUs innovative medical school; collaborate with interdisciplinary faculty across Honor Health & ASUs health innovation ecosystem

• ABMS Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology (required)
• Passionate about building educational infrastructure and advancing women's health
• Committed to patient-centered, team-based care
• Eligible for Arizona medical license
