Applicants must be board certified or board eligible in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care by the American Board of Surgery. Candidates must demonstrate strong skills in emergency surgery, surgical critical care, and trauma patient management, as well as a record of teaching and research in health services, translational science, or basic science. The Department of Surgery is seeking an experienced Surgical Critical Care Residency Program Director and Surgical Intensive Care Unit Medical Director.
The Trauma Surgeon will report directly to the Chief of Trauma and the Chair of the Department of Surgery. Candidates must hold an M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical or osteopathic school and must have completed a General Surgery residency and a Surgical Critical Care fellowship.
