Job Summary and Responsibilities

Dignity Health Medical Group - Arizona is seeking a Consultation-Liaison Psychiatrist to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. The role involves providing consultation-liaison psychiatric services to a broad variety of patients eph’s Hospital and Medical Center (SJHMC). Coverage includes the emergency department, intensive care unit, medical‑psychiatric unit, and neurorehabilitation patients. The position offers 5 days/week inpatient general hospital coverage with one weekend rounding per month (weekdays exchanged for weekend coverage) and an academic appointment at the Creighton University School of Medicine commensurate with experience.

• Provide consultation-liaison psychiatric services to a broad variety of patients eph’s Hospital and Medical Center (SJHMC)
• Coverage includes emergency department, intensive care unit, medical‑psychiatric unit, and neurorehabilitation patients.
• SJHMC houses the Barrow Neurological Institute, an internationally recognized center for neurosurgery and neurology, offering extensive opportunities for caring for complex neuropsychiatric patients.
• 5 days/week inpatient general hospital coverage with rounding one weekend per month (weekdays exchanged for weekend coverage)
• Academic appointment at the Creighton University School of Medicine commensurate with experience

• MD/DO License
• BC/BE in Psychiatry (ideally with additional certification/eligibility in consultation‑liaison psychiatry, brain injury medicine, or neuropsychiatry)
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency
• A passion for providing clinically excellent care
• Must have or be eligible for Arizona state medical licensure
