Duties: The Section Chief of Urology physician is assigned to Surgical Service, Urology Section, of the Phoenix VA Health Care System (PVACHS), and is under the supervision of the Chief of Surgical Services. The Section Chief provides comprehensive care for patients who have illnesses within the scope of Urology. The scope of these activities covers hospitalized patients and all phases of ambulatory care.
The Section Chief of Urology Surgery is responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of patients with medical diseases, accomplished through ambulatory and bed-based resources assigned to Urology Surgery.
