University Physics I Lab
This calculus-based course utilizes lab experimentation to practice concepts of physical principles introduced in the PHY-121 lecture course. Students are able to perform the proper analysis and calculations to arrive at the correct quantifiable result when confronted with equations involving gravity, sound, energy, and motion.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include equipping students with the required skill set, facilitating classroom discussions, assessing student performance and preparing students to be successful leaders in their chosen profession. Other main responsibilities include the following:
- Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
- Preferred: MS/doctorate in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering
- Minimum:
Masters in any field with 18 graduate credit hours in Physics
- Your unofficial transcripts for any applicable conferred graduate degrees.
- Any applicable licenses/certifications
