The Counseling Faculty position begins in Fall 2026 and is part of the Counseling Department at Phoenix College, a learning-focused institution. This position provides counseling services and instruction within our degree programs. The successful candidate will provide culturally appropriate and responsive counseling to help our students succeed in their personal, academic, and career journeys. The successful candidate will also provide instruction to a very diverse student body through our Associate's degree in Counseling, our First Year experience program, and our Behavioral Health certificate program.

Essential FunctionsProvide personal development, academic, and career counseling for students. Respond to crises and perform crisis triage management. Refer to appropriate resources on and off campus.
Develop curriculum, teach, and assess in-person and/or online First Year Experience (FYE), Counseling (CAP), Behavioral Health Sciences (BHS), and Career and Personal Development (CPD) classes to a minoritized student population.
