Students Pastor - Maryvale
The mission of Christ's Church of the Valley is to win people to Jesus Christ, train believers to become disciples, and send disciples to impact the world. The Students Ministry supports the mission of CCV by shaping students to become Christ-centered difference makers. The Students Pastor will assist pastoring Junior and Senior High students through recruiting, training, and retaining youth coaches, as well as implementing Junior and Senior High school programs and events.
The Students Pastor will also assist in growing the campus in all areas numerically such as attendance, coaches, and baptisms.
- Execute Junior and Senior High events and programs
- Cast the overall CCV & Students Ministry vision with parents and volunteers
- Provide pastoral care for families and coaches
- Recruit, train, and retain volunteers for all weekend areas and events
- Develop and maintain school campus involvement
- Following up with first time students
- Collect and report accurate weekly attendance according to established standards and deadlines
- Work with the team to plan and execute various church-wide events. These may include, but are not limited to:
- Kick off events
- Easter
- Christmas Eve
- Alignment with our CORE Values & Staff Fundamentals

- Must support the vision & mission of CCV

- Must be an active participant in a CCV Group and consistently tithe
- Demonstrated maturity as a Christ follower
- Fully engaged (or willingness to) in CCV Next Steps:
- Baptism-by immersion at an age of decision
- Worship-regularly attend CCV service with family
- Connect-participation in CCV small group
- Serve-volunteer somewhere within a CCV ministry
- Give-returning at least a full 10% tithe to the local church CCV

- Education and Experience
- 2 years minimum experience leading a ministry of youth and volunteers
- Degree in Youth Ministry preferred, however training or proven experience in the field will be considered
- Athletic team experience is helpful
- Software and technology skills is a bonus
