Rate: Hourly Non-Exempt
Student Attendance Times: 7:30am to 3:30pm
Position Summary: The Paraprofessional position assists, supports, and works closely with teachers, administrators and other team members in providing educational assistance to students.
Training and
Experience:
- Experience working directly with students in a high school instructional setting preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- One of the following Items required for Paraprofessional Highly Qualified:
- A passing score on an approved paraprofessional test.
- 60 college credit hours on official transcripts.
- Associate's degree or higher on official transcripts.
Licensing/Certification Requirements:
- Valid CPR, First Aide, and Crisis Prevention Intervention certification (if applicable). This training is provided by the District.
- Valid Arizona DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card.
