Minimum Requirements

• Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Arizona Driver's License
• Previous teaching experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Arizona Teaching Certificate
• Structured English Immersion (SEI) endorsement
• Bilingual (English/Spanish preferred)
• 3+ years of teaching experience
• Background in Project-Based Learning (PBL)
• A heart for working with diverse students from all cultural, linguistic, and social backgrounds

Essential Responsibilities

This list isn't exhaustive but here's what your day-to-day might include:

• Plan and deliver dynamic lessons aligned to curriculum goals for both virtual and in-person learners
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students
• Build a classroom culture rooted in safety, respect, and high expectations
• Use restorative practices to support student behavior and well-being
• Communicate regularly with families about student progress and attendance
• Collaborate with your team to share strategies and support one another
• Participate in school-wide events and student recruitment campaigns
• Provide guidance and leadership to teaching assistants or volunteers as needed
• Supervise students across campus settings (classroom, lunch, recess, field trips, etc.)
• Use formative and summative assessments to track growth and adjust instruction
• Support students' social-emotional growth, academic progress, and love of learning
• Step in with a "whatever it takes" mindset ready to help wherever needed
