Job Summary:
The Super Summer Bible Camp Bible Study Teacher involves you bringing Bible stories to life in a fun learning environment for Super Summer Bible Camp children while supervising them, providing a safe, fun, interactive environment.
Job Description and Expectations:
On a daily basis you will interact with children, creating a friendly, positive, fun, safe, interactive environment that models Christ every day while teaching them Bible Stories.You will create and teach Bible Lessons that are age appropriate and content appropriate for our Summer Camp Campers.Must be a Christian who attends church regularly and studies the Bible.Must listen to Christian Music and be able to choose age appropriate songs to go with the Bible Lesson.Must be willing to be physically active and be able to plan a classroom game to go with the Bible lesson daily.Must be able to handle emergency situations or uncomfortable situations that may come up involving children.Able to clean facility and classrooms if staff missed something when they were picking up and cleaning.You will work with and communicate closely with the summer director, assistant director, and office assistants.Respond in a timely and professional manner to all text messages, emails, phone calls and any form of group communication.Willing to help with the overall daily functions.Professional attitude, support other Super Summer Bible Camp staff and the staff of North Phoenix Baptist Church.Other duties as assigned.Requirements
Qualifications:
Must be outgoing, a Christian and pursuing a relationship with Jesus Christ, attend church regularly, study the Bible, have experience working with children, be physically active, and willing to participate in activities. You must be flexible with the hours you are able to work, be present when SSBC is open/your scheduled time, and be willing to work a variety of shifts including opening and closing, pass a drug test, and prove citizenship.
