Job Description

We are seeking private music instructors for Guitar in the Phoenix, AZ area. Lessons will be delivered at students’ homes, your own studio or rehearsal space, or via webcam. Most students prefer face‑to‑face sessions, so we need local instructors willing to travel within the area. You will set your own schedule and curriculum, and you will be paid as an independent contractor between $20 and $30 per hour, based on travel time, experience and education, and student retention.

The company will handle advertising, marketing, SEO, and billing so that you can focus on teaching.

Your responsibilities will include creating lesson plans, conducting lessons, maintaining communication with students and the office, and keeping time for all sessions.

We expect you to be organized, communicative, punctual, and comfortable working with kids.

Formal music training is not mandatory; however, either a degree in music, ongoing enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or prior teaching experience is required.

COVID‑19 precautions: you must wear a mask, sanitize hands, and observe social distancing when applicable.
