As an
** Instructional Assistant**, you will play an important role in creating an engaging and supportive classroom environment through hands-on assistance, tutoring, classroom facilitation, and academic support.
** This is a face-to-face, part-time opportunity located on GCU’s Main Campus in Phoenix, Arizona.

** Minimum Qualifications**
* ** Completed Bachelor’s degree
** from an accredited institution required
* Must reside in Arizona and be available to work in person on GCU’s Main Campus
* Successfully completed coursework in
** Theology, Ministry, or Divinity,
** with a grade of B or higher
* Strong communication and classroom support skills
* Previous tutoring, teaching, mentoring, or instructional support experience preferred
** Key Responsibilities
*** Partner with faculty to support classroom instruction and student engagement
* Assist with lesson preparation, grading, and classroom facilitation
* Hold weekly office hours to provide tutoring and academic support
* Reinforce course concepts through one-on-one and group assistance
* Support classroom management and proctor examinations
* Observe and report student progress to faculty
* Facilitate review sessions and supplemental instruction opportunities
* Help create a collaborative and encouraging learning environment
* Uphold and support the mission and values of Grand Canyon University
** Additional Information
*** Part-time, in-person position
* Maximum of 10 hours per week
* Schedule may vary based on course assignment and departmental needs
