2026 Semester (09/08/2026 – 12/13/2026).
Course:
Gospels and Acts – An exegetical study of the initial books of the New Testament with emphasis on hermeneutical principles. The class focuses on the interpretation of selected passages from the Gospels and Acts, textual issues, and major theological themes.
- Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions.
- Engage students in learning course objectives and topics.
- Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom.
- Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
- Master’s in divinity (preferred) or Master’s in Theology or Master’s in Christian Studies.
- At least 12 graduate credits in New Testament history and literature from an accredited college or university.
- At least 2 years professional experience in the pastorate or teaching the Gospels and Acts at the postsecondary level.
- Employment contingent upon satisfactory outcome of pre‑employment screening activities, including a background check.
