Church Leadership Adjunct Pool

Nelson American Indian College, located in Phoenix, Arizona, is currently accepting applications for Adjunct Professor positions in Church Leadership. Nelson AIC is an Assemblies of God institution affiliated with Nelson University in Waxahachie, Texas.

All applicants must be willing to subscribe to a statement of faith for final consideration.

All instructors must hold a master’s degree + 18 hours in the area they are applying to teach in.

Exception: Developmental instructors must hold a BA or higher in any area.

Continuous open position.

Salary based on level of course and number of students registered for the course.

• Copies of transcripts from all higher education institutions (must be from a regionally accredited school). During preliminary interviews, transcripts may be photocopied. Official transcripts will be required later.
• A 3-5-page excerpt of a paper you completed for any graduate-level work.
• A written expression of your philosophy of Christian Higher Education.
• Two letters of reference, including one pastoral reference if available.
• Completion of the Faculty Application Survey:
  Faith and Mission Alignment document.

• Audio recording of an average sermon or classroom presentation.
• Statement from the district secretary confirming that your credential is in good standing, if you are a credentialed minister.

This position is exempt from overtime in compliance with the Fair Labor Standards Act.
