Job Description
The Teacher is distinguished from other classes by the focus on educating students through classroom instruction as well as through specialized education and skills development programs in schools and throughout the District as Teacher Specialists.
Job QualificationsArizona Elementary Teacher Certification. The appropriately certified candidate should hold either an Elementary K-8 certificate with Art as an approved area or Art K-12 endorsement OR a Secondary 6-12 certificate with an Art K-12 endorsement OR an Arts Education Pre K-12 certificate. SEI endorsement preferred.
Licensing/Certification RequirementsValid IVP Level One AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card is required.
Employment Information2026-27 school year; 194 work days (216 day teacher calendar), 1.0 FTE (.5 FTE for Esperanza & .5 FTE for Lomas)
