Course DetailsCourse:
Dynamic Systems & Lab (Fall
2026 –09/08/2026 to 12/18/2026). This course introduces students to the processes of mathematical modeling and analysis of dynamic systems with mechanical, thermal, electrical, and fluid elements. Topics covered include time‑domain solutions, analog computer simulation, linearization techniques, block diagram representation, numerical methods, and frequency‑domain solutions. Hands‑on lab activities enhance students’ ability to mathematically analyze components and systems for mechanical performance.
- Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions.
- Engage students in learning course objectives and topics.
- Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom.
- Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
- Minimum:
Master’s in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering, or related engineering discipline with systems and control experience. - Preferred:
Doctorate in any of the above disciplines.
