Exercise Science:
Special Populations. This course introduces analysis of special populations to assist in designing health education and physical fitness programs.
- Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions.
- Engage students in learning course objectives and topics.
- Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom.
- Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
- Preferred:
Doctorate or Master’s in any Health or Exercise Science-related discipline, and holding NSCA, NASM, or ACSM certification. - Minimum:
Master’s in any field with 18 graduate credit hours in Health or Exercise Science, and holding NSCA, NASM, or ACSM certification.
