Course:Food and Nutrition Management
Food and Nutrition Management offers students a comprehensive understanding of the principles, practices, and managerial skills required to excel in the dynamic field of large-scale food operations. Through a blend of theoretical concepts and practical applications, students explore various management styles, menu planning, recipe modification, operational strategies, and key considerations in overseeing food service establishments.
Responsibilities- Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
- Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
- Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
- Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University
- Preferred:
Doctorate or Master’s in Nutritional Science/Dietetics, Biological Science or Exercise Science with emphasis or certifications in nutrition/dietetics. - Minimum:
Master’s in any field with 18 graduate credit hours in Nutritional Science/Dietetics, Biological Science or Exercise Science with emphasis or certifications in nutrition/dietetics.
