The portion of the course will be taught in-person on the traditional campus in Phoenix, AZ, for the Fall 2026 semester (September 8, 2026 – December 18, 2026).
Course OverviewThis is an introductory course in general nutrition and wellness, which covers fitness and health definitions, fundamental nutritional principles, and applications to food selection and overall health.
What You Will Do- Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions.
- Engage students in learning course objectives and topics.
- Assess student performance and mentor classroom success.
- Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s doctrinal statement, ethical position statement, and mission.
- Preferred: Doctorate or Master’s in Nutritional Science/Dietetics, Biological Science or Exercise Science with emphasis or certifications in nutrition/dietetics.
- Minimum: Master’s in any field with 18 graduate credit hours in Nutritional Science/Dietetics, Biological Science or Exercise Science with emphasis or certifications in nutrition/dietetics.
