Overview
Make a Difference at Grand Canyon University. The College of Humanities and Social Sciences at GCU is home to dedicated faculty and leaders who are deeply committed to inspiring and guiding students. Adjunct faculty teach part-time, in-person courses at our Phoenix campus. The honors symposium occurs during the first year, building upon ethics, service, leadership, research, cultural awareness, and innovative thinking. Students explore their industry, investigate local and global issues, discuss and propose solutions to real‑world problems, and receive professional development guidance for future careers.
ResponsibilitiesEquipping students with the required skill set, facilitating classroom discussions, assessing student performance, and preparing students to be successful leaders in their chosen profession.
- Providing a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
- Minimum:
Master’s degree or higher in any field or discipline. - Attachments:
Unofficial transcripts for any conferred graduate degrees, applicable licenses or certifications.
