What you will do:- Conduct and coach weekly practice.
- Assist in debate case construction.
- Travel in and out-of-state with the team (up to 10 tournaments per year).
- Judge tournaments.
- Assist with administrative tasks associated with team budget and travel expenses.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Two years of competition or coaching experience in NPDA debate, IPDA debate, and/or AFA/NFA individual events.
- Must successfully pass a background check.
- Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
- Four years of competition or coaching experience in intercollegiate speech and debate.
- Qualified to elimination rounds at the National Parliamentary Tournament of Excellence, National Parliamentary Debate Association Championship Tournament, IPDA or Speech National Championships.
