Job Overview
Grand Canyon University’s College of Engineering and Technology seeks adjunct faculty to teach the course Scientific Computing for AI. Adjunct teachers will deliver face‑to‑face instruction at the Phoenix campus during the Fall 2026 semester (09/08/2026 – 12/18/2026). The faculty are energetic advisors committed to helping students grow academically, spiritually, and personally.
Course DetailsThe course covers scientific computing methods for AI, including numerical methods for differential equations, stochastic simulation, and high‑performance computing. Students will learn to apply scientific computing techniques to develop and evaluate algorithms and models for AI.
What You Will Do- Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
- Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
- Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
- Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University
Preferred:
- Master’s in Science in Computer Science or a Master’s in Statistics or closely related degree and proficiency in AI theoretical concepts and Python
Minimum:
- Bachelor in Computer Science or Bachelor in Statistics or closely related degree and 18 graduate credits in AI
Required documents: unofficial transcript reflecting degree earned with 18 graduate credit hours in the relevant areas and unofficial transcripts for any applicable conferred graduate degrees.
