GCU Traditional Campus – Phoenix, AZ:
Courses are in‑person and on‑campus for the Fall 2026 semester (Class start date 09/08/2026). Course:
Financial Risk Management and Insurance. This introductory course explores fundamental concepts in risk management and insurance. Students learn to identify and mitigate commercial and personal risks through the use of financial products, including insurance and other financial instruments.
- Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
- Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
- Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
- Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
- Preferred:
PhD/DBA in Finance or Doctorate in another business discipline with Finance emphasis. - Minimum:
Master’s in Business Administration, Master’s in Finance, Master’s in Financial Economics, or Master’s in any field AND current AZ Insurance license.
