Accounting​/Finance Adjunct Pool

Nelson American Indian College, located in Phoenix, Arizona, is currently taking applications for Adjunct Professor Positions in Finance & Accounting. Nelson AIC is affiliated in partnership with Nelson University in Waxahachie, Texas. We are an Assemblies of God institution and all applicants must be willing to subscribe to a statement of faith for final consideration in addition to professional and academic requirements.

All instructors must hold a master’s degree plus 18 hours in the area they apply to teach in. Exception:
Developmental instructors must hold a BA or higher in any area.

Needed for Spring 2024 semester.

Salary based on level of course and students registered for the course.

• Copies of transcripts from all higher education institutions (must be from a regionally accredited school). During preliminary interviews we may photocopy these transcripts. However, as your candidacy formalizes, we’ll need official transcripts.
• A 3-5 page excerpt of a paper you completed for any graduate-level work.
• A written expression of your philosophy of Christian Higher Education.
• Two letters of reference, including one pastoral reference, if available. If you attend a mega church, you may or may not know the senior pastor, so it is acceptable to ask any minister familiar with your faith to write a letter of reference for you.
• Completion of the Faculty Application Survey:
  Faith and Mission Alignment document.
