Job Description
Job Title: Special Education Teacher
Location: San Tan Valley, AZ
Employment Type: Full-Time
Minimum 1+ years special education experience required.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs.
- Provide direct instruction to students with diverse learning needs, utilizing evidence-based practices.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting IEPs as necessary to ensure academic and developmental growth.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education in Arizona.
- Previous experience working with children with diverse learning needs.
- Strong understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs) and special education laws.
